The existing property was a one bedroom cottage with a living accommodation and bathroom on the first floor; and a bedroom and store room on the ground.
The proposal comprised a small extension to the front and a larger one to the rear which allowed the ground floor to be reconfigured to provide an open plan kitchen/living/dining area linking through to the west facing rear garden. The first floor was then replanned to accommodate two bedrooms (one with a 'juliette' balcony) and a new bathroom.
