The existing property was a generously proportioned 2 bedroom bungalow but with a very weak relationship to its south facing garden and in need of modernisation.
The roof space was converted to create an additional bedroom with an en suite bathroom and office area. A new single storey side extension was also added which, together with internal reconfiguration, created an open plan but sub dividable living/dining/kitchen area leading onto the garden.
Planning Permission was not required as it was confirmed at the Preparation stage, through a Pre-Planning Enquiry, that the works fell within Permitted Development.
The project was built and fitted out by innerspace.
